« Chantons Noël » marked the beginning of the Holiday Season at Saint Joseph’s Oratory on December 2 and 3 as singers Marie-Élaine Thibert, Marie Michèle Desrosiers, Marie-Ève Janvier and Gino Quilico took to the stage charming the audience with their dazzling interpretation of old Christmas favourites. They were accompanied by many musicians including special guest Vincent Boucher, Titular Organist at Saint Joseph’s Oratory and the Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal Boys’ Choir under the direction of Andrew Gray.
The Oratory innovated this year by launching a contest which allowed four lucky contestants, Vera Sarrah Cyr, KellyAnn Forget, Richard Grenier and Laurence Boily, to join the artists on stage to sing Beau Dommage’s « 23 décembre ».
