The mission Sainte-Thérèse d’Avila, the Fondation Oscar Romero, the Pastorale sociale de la Petite-Patrie and the Services communautaires pour immigrants are pleased to invite you to a Thanksgiving Mass for Bishop Oscar Romero, who was canonized in Rome on October 14, 2018.
Mgr Pierre Blanchard, director of the Office of Cultural and Ritual Communities at the Catholic Church in Montreal, will preside over Mass in Spanish.
March 24 is the anniversary of Romero’s assassination in 1980; it will be, henceforth, the date of his liturgical Feast.
The Office of the Social Pastoral of the Diocese of Montreal, Saint Joseph’s Oratory and the Dominican Pastoral Institute support the holding of this event.
