places his scholarship and faith at the service of the university community in Toronto. Ordained a priest in 2006, he has been teaching at St. Michael’s College since 2008. In 2022, he became Executive Director of the Toronto School of Theology (TST), while continuing his teaching activities as Associate Professor of Systematic Theology. His research and publications focus on interreligious dialogue, relations and decoloniality. Darren Dias serves on several ecclesiastical committees at both the national and international levels. Like his fellow Dominican brothers in Canada, he continues “the mission of Saint Dominic, preaching the word of God and building bridges toward unity and peace” (dominicains.ca). – On the occasion of the novena at the Oratory, he will offer the preaching from March 10 to 13.
has been Archbishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Moncton since 2023, after having carried the episcopal responsibility of that diocese for eleven years. Previously, he served as Bishop of Bathurst from 2002 to 2012. A native of Cap-Pelé, New Brunswick, Mgr Vienneau has been a pastor in the service of the wider Acadian community since his ordination in 1982. He has served in parishes in Shediac, Saint-Paul-de-Kent, Adamsville, Saint-Ignace, and Kouchibouguac; he has also acted as chaplain at Stella Maris Hospital, Villa Providence, and the Université de Moncton. Mgr Valéry Vienneau has served on several commissions and committees of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), as well as on its Permanent Council. – On the occasion of the novena at the Oratory, he will deliver the preaching from March 14 to 18.
